Morpheus Rep Co has been operating for approx 18 months is presently involved in a joint project with one of the country's most innovative artists, a professional actor, musician and opera singer Tim Godwin who leads workshops all over the country and across the continent and the founder of Thrift Theatre Company based in Ufton Court near Thatcham. Interakt Community Theatre was founded by Tsippy McAuliffe in 2003 and is presently involved in a joint project with Newbury's Box Theatre Company and the Newbury Young Film Makers exploring a devised piece on the intolerance and hatred in the world.

Opportunities for proposed projects and workshops are available for mixed ability groups of all ages to come and work with us in the theatre or for us to come to you.

Last productions

Robin Hood, 5th October 2007
By Strange Face Mask Co, who delivered a wonderful workshop in the afternoon and an amazing performance about the true story of Robin Hood in the evening, with lots of masked characters and props performed by 3 actors. It was like a wonderfully woven tapestry of magical moments.

Day at the Races, in the Newbury Fringe Festival 2007
Our very own Interakt Community Theatre performed a masked piece called Day At The Races, which was their first ever masked performance and it went down very well at the Newbury Library.

Signs of a Diva, July 2007
A wonderful performance by a deaf artist called Carolin Parker. She performed a one woman one act play called Signs of a Diva. She had has laughing and crying, mesmerised by her unique way of performing word perfect (as the audience had the advantage of watching the words digitally displayed on a small screen off centre of stage), to some of her favourite songs of yesteryear.

Rockmass, 19th December 2006
Christmas music for rock fans.
